Calibrating System 200/500/600 Bill Acceptors
How to Calibrate Standard Bill Acceptors
A properly calibrated note acceptor provides the best possible bill acceptance rate for your machine. Standard Change Makers designs their products with calibration procedures that you can perform at your location. With the 8051 upgrade, we’ve even made it automatic using the keyboard or data terminal.
Choose from the list of note acceptors below that matches your machine. The serial tag on the unit will help to identify the note acceptor if you are not sure which type you own.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF CALIBRATING MY BILL ACCEPTOR CAUSES ACCEPTANCE ISSUES?
If you have followed the instructions in calibrating your bill acceptor, and you have problems with bill acceptance or get errors when you return the machine to normal operation mode, you should contact the Standard Change-Makers Service Dept. by calling 1-800-968-6955 (or 317-899-6966).
SHOULD I CLEAN MY BILL ACCEPTOR BEFORE CALIBRATING IT?
Depending on usage, it is always a good idea to clean your bill acceptor with a clean damp cloth prior to calibrating it. A clean bill path will help with the calibration operation, as well as preventative maintenance will always help in better performance and reliability.
