Standard Change-Makers, like many business around the world, has felt the affects of ongoing supply chain and labor shortage problems. We have experienced shortages and longer lead times in the supply of bill acceptors, coin acceptors, motors, magnets, steel, hardware, electronics, circuit boards, cables, and even small plastic connectors (just to name a few).
In additional to the shortages, we have placed orders and been hit with double- and triple-digit price increases on new and existing purchase orders along with the extended lead times. Many of our customers and distributors can add their own stories to these. It’s the part of business that keeps us awake at night.
However, we must respond to these conditions, and therefore we are announcing a price increase on all machines effective January 1, 2022. The increases amount to about 10% on machines. Our parts prices will also increase, but at the time of this writing that amount has yet to be determined. We wanted to give you as much advanced warning as we could so that you can prepare your customers and staff.
