Indianapolis, IN — Standard Change-Makers, a leading manufacturer of currency change machines and entry systems since 1955, has announced the launch of its newest innovation: the MC700-TALL Series. This enhanced cabinet design answers a long-standing challenge in front-load change machines—how to accommodate next-generation hoppers without sacrificing coin capacity.
With the introduction of Standard’s advanced K5000 hoppers, most front-load change machine designs faced a trade-off. The angled bottom of the new hoppers, engineered for superior coin flow and reliability, required a taller housing. To fit them beneath the bill acceptors, many models had to reduce hopper capacity to just 2,800 quarters ($700).

The MC700-TALL Series changes the equation. By increasing cabinet height, Standard can now equip smaller front-load machines with 3.2K and 5.2K K5000 hoppers—delivering 3,200 quarters ($800) or 5,200 quarters ($1,300) per hopper. The result is larger capacity, occupying less wall space, and greater convenience for operators.
